We love a good fashion reference, and Emily Ratajkowski made the ultimate one yesterday. For her appearance on Late Night with Seth Meyers, the model and actress was styled by Danielle Goldberg (who is also the mastermind behind the likes of Ayo Adebiri’s, Saoirse Ronan’s, and Margaret Qualley’s recent major looks) in an electric blue mini dress from Gucci’s Spring/Summer 2000 collection. The snake print, halter-neck, front cut-out design is from Tom Ford’s ten year tenure as creative director—heralded as the most sexy and successful era for the fashion house.

25 years on, the dress looks as good as ever—and we love a girlie who chooses vintage over new. The look was completed with a pair of simple black heeled sandals from it-girl brand Paris Texas. Let the fashion history do the talking!

Emily was discussing her supporting role in Lena Denham’s new Netflix series Too Much, where she plays the influencer girlfriend named Wendy of Megan Stalter’s character Jessica’s ex-boyfriend—it’s a whole thing. If you haven’t watched it yet, you need to get on it, stat.

It's safe to say that a snake print dress has now gone right to the top of our summer wishlist.
